Character Creation

Narrative, Drawback, and Inspiration.

  • A Narrative just requires 3 words and/or statements about your character. This can include skills, background and/or race that is unique and descriptive. Because this is a narrative element, it is assumed that the character has access to equipment and contacts, including weapons, armor and money. Please be aware that if your Narrative offers you some Exceptional ability far above and beyond the ‘norm’ of this setting, it will subtract from your Inspiration total
  • A Drawback is a word or statement that has a negative impact or complicates the characters life. This can be a physical weakness, being hunted or psychological trouble. By willingly complicating your own actions, you can earn Inspiration
  • Inspiration are points you can spend to roll 2dX, taking the Higher roll. You begin with 4 points, minus 1 for each Exception you choose at character creation
